This policy explains what personal data Nordvale handles, why we need it and how you stay in control of it.
Data we collect
We collect the information you give us when you open and use an account: your name, contact details, date of birth, identity documents, and the payment activity on your account. We also record technical details such as device and session information used to keep your account secure.
Why we use it
We use your data to open and operate your account, process payments, verify your identity, detect fraud, and meet the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to financial services. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal grounds
We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and improving our services, and — where required — with your consent.
Sharing
We share data with the service providers who help us run Nordvale, such as identity verification, card issuing and cloud infrastructure partners, and with authorities where the law requires it. Providers act on our instructions and under contract.
Retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for the period required by financial-services and anti-money-laundering rules.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, ask us to correct it, request deletion where the law allows, object to certain processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. Contact support and we will respond within the statutory timeframe.
Bot protection
Our sign-up, sign-in, booking and chat forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which analyses activity in the background to block automated abuse. Google may process device and usage data for this purpose under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We use it only to keep these forms secure.
