Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Nordvale for your account, card and payments.
About these terms
These terms form the agreement between you and Nordvale when you open an account, hold a balance or use a Nordvale debit card. By opening an account you accept them.
Opening an account
You must be at least 18, resident in a country we serve, and able to complete identity verification. We may decline or close an application where we cannot verify you or where the law requires it.
Using your account
Keep your sign-in details and devices secure, and confirm payments only when you recognise them. Payments are executed once you approve them and are generally irreversible after that point.
Your card
The Nordvale debit card is issued for your personal use and remains our property. You can freeze it in the app at any time. Report a lost or stolen card immediately so we can block it.
Fees
Fees that apply to your plan are set out on the pricing page. We will tell you in advance if fees change, and you may close your account free of charge if you disagree.
Suspension and closure
We may suspend or restrict an account where we suspect fraud, unauthorised use or a breach of these terms, or where we are legally required to. You may close your account at any time once outstanding payments have settled.
Liability
We are responsible for the payment services we provide as described in these terms and applicable law. We are not responsible for losses caused by you sharing your credentials or approving a payment you were asked to make by someone else.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, raise it through the support centre. We will acknowledge your complaint and keep you updated until it is resolved.
